The draw.setscreen enables or disables the Graphics screen. By default it will look like this.

Description Activates the Graphics screen.

Library draw


Draw.setscreen is a Touch Lua function in the draw library. It will activate or deactivate the Graphics screen. However, you cannot use this function to automatically hide the Turtle screen, as it will error if the Turtle screen is already showing. You must call turtle.hidescreen first.

Potential errors when using draw.setscreenEdit

  • If you attempt to call turtle.showscreen when the Graphics screen is already showing, a runtime error will be thrown.
  • If you attempt to call draw.setscreen with an argument of 1 when the Turtle screen is already showing, a runtime error will be thrown.
